Patch Bays at Transient Sound

The top bay has ins/outs to compressors and other outboard gear. The next (with the green tape) is track outputs (top jacks) normalled to channel inputs (bottom), and also the pre-fader main stereo insert points normalled to the mixdown station (usually a DAT machine as A-D converter followed by the Mac running Sound Designer II). Most of the bottom patch panel is dominated by male XLRs that were wired to mic inputs in the various rooms at the Grand Avenue studio location.
